An unusual sight greeted visitors at the shelter: a one-eared kitten waving its paw at each new visitor. He truly wanted to find a home.

The cat’s name is Jumper; he is nine months old. He was taken in by the Alaska Humane organization when he lost his previous owners. The little one was very affectionate, climbing into laps and demanding attention. He underwent medical exams and neutering and was left to recover in a room.
However, Jumper didn’t rest quietly. Somehow recovering from anesthesia, the kitten immediately started running around, capturing the attention of everyone passing by his enclosure.
The vet explained that the cat’s ear couldn’t heal normally due to an injury he had suffered. However, Jumper cares little about his appearance. The injured ear doesn’t bother him at all; it even adds charm to his face.

Shannon Basner, the organization’s founder, describes Jumper as the sweetest cat who loves to run but is also affectionate and gentle.
All volunteers and staff quickly fell in love with this wonderful kitten. He managed to share his love with nearly everyone he met.

When the people entered the room, the cat leaped up, stood on his hind legs, and quickly started waving his front paws. He clearly demanded attention and wanted to be petted.
Despite his injured ear, his face was so cute that people immediately realized: this special cat had chosen them, and they should be grateful. Not everyone receives this honor.
