Renowned German actor Eric Braeden, celebrated for his portrayal of Victor Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” recently opened up about his battle with cancer in a candid video. The 82-year-old actor shared that he is currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment following his cancer diagnosis.
During a Facebook Live session, Braeden revealed that his cancer diagnosis came unexpectedly during a routine checkup, following complications with his prostate while recovering from knee surgery. He mentioned the presence of “high-grade” cancer cells near his bladder.
Despite facing health challenges, Braeden remains dedicated to his work on the soap opera. He expressed his passion for acting and his resolve to conquer the illness, stating, “I’m happy to be able to go to work… I’ll be in top form again soon.”
