Soap opera stalwart Greg Vaughan, recognized for his roles in “Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital,” recently endured a harrowing ordeal that landed him in the hospital. Vaughan shared images of himself connected to an oxygen machine, sparking worry among his social media followers.
Vaughan’s hospitalization stemmed from a severe bout of altitude sickness. He had planned a winter retreat with his children in Breckenridge, Colorado, aiming to indulge in skiing and snowboarding.
However, just a day into his vacation, he began experiencing fatigue, congestion, and shortness of breath.
Despite attempting to alleviate his symptoms with remedies like NyQuil and Pedialyte, Vaughan found no relief. Recognizing the gravity of his condition, he made the difficult decision to descend the mountain and seek urgent medical attention.
