Michael J. Fox discussed confronting fear following his enduring struggle with Parkinson’s disease spanning over three decades.
In a recent conversation with “CBS Mornings,” the 62-year-old former actor, diagnosed with the progressive neurological condition in 1991, acknowledged experiencing bouts of depression and doubt regularly. Nevertheless, Fox emphasized his commitment to maintaining optimism, especially during his toughest moments.
“The optimism comes from a genuine place. It’s something I truly feel,” expressed the “Back to the Future” icon. “But it’s a battle, one that’s been hard-fought and hard-won, I should say.”
